Future directions for phruta

I acknowledge that some of the functions in phruta are for now very limited and cover a few basic aspects of the modern phylogenetic pipeline. However, I’m actively working on improving phruta. Recent developments have included:

  • Expand taxonomic cleaning for non-animal/plant groups (implemented in v0.1.2)
  • Taxonomic tree constraints (implemented in v0.1.2)
  • Partitioned analyses in RAxML
  • PartitionFinder (V2; V1 is implemented in v0.1.2)
  • Rogue taxa identification (implemented in v0.1.2)
  • Faster functions to mine genbank (implemented in v0.1.2)
